Resonant Leadership and Its Contribution to Organizational Proactiveness Through the Mediating Role of Organizational Agility An Analytical Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Employees in Private Hospitals in the center of Duhok Governorate

Abstract

The current research aims to study the effect of resonant leadership represented by (vigilance dimension, hope dimension, and empathy dimension) in achieving organizational proactivity represented by (proactive behavior, strategic behavior, and orientation towards competitors), and to test the mediating role of organizational agility represented by (sensing flexibility, decision-making flexibility, and implementation flexibility) as an indirect variable in the influential relationship between the two variables, from the point of view of a sample of employees in private hospitals in the center of Duhok Governorate / Kurdistan Region - Iraq. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for collecting data from a sample of (150) employees. The research hypotheses were tested using the (SPSS Version 25) program. The research reached a set of results, the most important of which is that organizational agility plays an important mediating role in enhancing the impact of resonant leadership on organizational proactivity. This indicates that enhancing the organizational agility of hospitals can increase the effectiveness of resonant leadership in achieving organizational proactivity of hospitals. Accordingly, to achieve organizational proactivity in private hospitals in Duhok Governorate, it is suggested that it is necessary to enhance the organizational agility of hospitals, which enhances the effectiveness of resonant leadership and achieves organizational proactivity, thus improving performance and then achieving sustainable competitive advantage for hospitals.
