This study aims to analyze the status of the participation rate of Algerian women in the labor force in labor market, and investigate some macro factors that affect this rate in Algeria during the period (1990- 2019) . The Fully Modified Lease Squares (FMOLS) and Dynamic Lease Squares (DOLS) approach were employed to estimate the econometric model. The results show that the fertility rate, real GDP and the rate of females enrolled in secondary education have a positive and statistical significant impact on participation rate of women in the labor force. Based on the data analysis in this study, the authors provide some recommendations to improve the participation rate of women in the labor force that can positively reflected on economic growth in Algeria.
